This game is about rounding decimals, to be really honest i found this a little difficult because i have never found anything to do with decimals easy. But in that case to anyone who is willing to learn how to round decimals then i would really recommend this game to you.

1:Dont waste time because you could be on the day 79 but when you waste too much time you then have 37 more days to save the planet (i know right crazy).

I partly agree with this lady because when playing this game you do learn but at the same time you don't, I believe that when playing this game it can get a bit boring and hard to figure out so then by saying that it's kinda true that students dont learn while playing this game. To make the game more interesting i suggest adding in some music like theme music.

But there's a little bit of learning like when playing the game you come across word's that you have no idea what the meaning is and then you start to learn about it, also you learn how to cross reference when it comes to figuring out whether something is reliable or not.

I have created a infographic using canva, I was able to make this by using the results that we have from our survey that we created for teachers about the strike.  When we were doing this we had to summarise what teachers thought about their daily job. For this task rate I think the number would be a 8 - 9. The reason why is because it was kinda hard and kinda easy at the same time.

Today I worked with my buddy and together we created this amazing DLO about FORREST (writing tactic for speeches), it took us awhile but it was really fun. FORREST is an acronym and it means Facts, Opinions, Rhetorical questions, Repetition, Emotive language, Statistics and Three (groups of).

Today I made this logo in Graphics, keep it blue means keeping our waters clean and blue not green or brown. I made this on Logo Maker and it was very easy, I haven't seen any other designs like this so I think im safe.

This task was about a boy who was kidnapped so that he couldn't participate in his next football game. This was easy because I looked for all the clues and made inferences. I made this by myself and sadly didn't collaborate with anyone because I just listened to my group and didn't share. Next time I will ask to work in a group so that I will be able to collaborate.

Reading Activity

Today I completed a reading activity that was called "What is Heat?" it was quite hard because there were some words that I did not know the meaning of. This task was about what heat was and how it can harm humans. After reading I then went and answered the questions, I got 71% so that means that I got two wrong.

Today for the morning session Sarah and I created a DLO that was about Collaborative Problem Solving . We found this task easy because we were familiar with this kind of work also because we used really good strategies to solve a problem that was Multiplication,Division,Subtraction and Addition.

Today I did a assignment that was called "Twist and Shout" this task was about young lady named Anne Montalto who had a torn ligament in her left knee, and why it happend,how she recovered and how she prevents from having another torn ligament. After reading there are questions that needed to be answered. I submitted my answers and I got 71%.

Today I worked with my friends Mya and Sarah together we solved a reading activity that was about a very "Valuable painting" that was taken. We looked at all the clues and found out that it was a character named "Lucy Smith"I think we worked really well together. At the top I have given you a story board and those are the reasons why.

Prototec 5 Feb 2018

Today I did prototec and I got 48% on stage 7, I didn't do much over the holidays so I forgot some stuff. I will practice until I can get 100% and to do that I will learn Square roots and factors.

Summer Learning Journey Week 4 Day 5 Bonus Activity

On your blog write a description of what New Zealand will be like at that time (80 – 90 years from now). What kind of houses will people live in? What will they eat? Where will they work?

In 80 - 90 years I picture people living in houses that are safer and can float, and I think they'll be eating healthier food and that there will be no takeaways which sounds very sad. I think they'll work in the sky like just above the clouds and have these little carts that take them to work. And instead of phones thell have these things were you use your fingers to turn it on like these. But yet again It could be perfect and all but the waters could be polluted there could be no kiwis left not much native animals and that is a big worry. So I am hopping when I am gone that New Zealand keeps clean and safe.

Summer Learning Journey Week 4 Day 4 Activity 2

Watch this short clip from Country Calendar. What do you think would be the most interesting and/or challenging things about being a farmer? Would you would like to be a farmer when you are older. Why/why not? Give us, at least, two reasons to support your answer.

You have to be okay with getting up early, you have to do it every single day and be really committed to your job. I think most interesting is how they used horses and this sort machine to brake into the land.

Would I like to be farmer when Im older no, because as silly as it sounds I would like to be a model when Im older, I would like to travel the world and work with different clothes brands.

The Movie Moana is about the girl who always wanted to be on the water and how she was chosen to restore the heart of Te fiti. So We all know Maui right he was the demigod who slowed the sun and bought all these wonderful items to our world like fire,coconuts the north island ETC. But Maui is not all good he thought taking the heart of Tawhiti would give humans the best life. But see when he took it darkness took over the water and stole the life from every island that was in its way. The other character is Moana, she is the child of Chief Tui and Sina. Moana always had the desire to go beyond the reef and adventure,  but her father would not allow her because when he went past the reef everything went extremely wrong.When she was younger she went for a walk to the beach and it was like the ocean had a mind of it own, so the ocean made way for her so that she could pick up the seashells. That day her grandma was there and believed the ocean chose her to put the heart of Tawhiti back. So Moana's Grandma waited for her to get older so that she could tell her. Eventually Moana became older and  her Grandma told her about how the ocean chose her to restore the heart, she didn't believe it until the ocean showed her it was true. You know how I told you about the ocean having its own mind yeah she thought it was a dream, the ocean gave her the heart of tawhiti so that she could restore it. When her grandma was taking her last breaths she told moana to go find Maui and force him to travel with her and restore the heart. So she did (This is after she met Maui on the his island) Moana travelled with Maui and went to defeat Te ka but Moana saw that Teka was Te fiti just without the heart. So she went face to face with Te Ka and restored the heart. Then everything went well and Maui got his new hook (Maui broke his hook while fighting with Te ka) from Te fiti but she wasn't very happy with what he did.

This is my classroom, whats special about my classroom is that there is enough space for everyone and that there is a place where you can store stuff. I have designed it this way because black and red are my favourite colours and it reminds me of my old class which has alot of memories so I designed it that way.

Speaking of home, where do you live? On your blog, please post a picture of your hometown and provide a list of three things that tourists, like us, could do if we came to visit. What do you like most about your hometown? (Remember the guidelines for being Cybersmart, and never post your address online).

These two photos are from where I live which is in Glen Innes. What I love most about my home town is the people although they may look mean all you have to do is say hello! and ask how there day is going and I guarantee they will greet you and make you feel welcomed, actually some people arent related but you will mistake them as family because how close they to each other. The first photo is the Glen Innes Center which I think tourist would love to look at and buy some things that they have never tasted like lollies,food etc. The second photo is Te Oro, Te Oro is a place where kids and adults who love to Sing,dance,paint,and make beats can go after school or during the holidays and enjoy their time. Which I think will be a great place for tourist to visit while their here in Glen Innes. Last but not least is the Wai o Taiki Bay, Wai o Taiki Bay is a small Auckland suburb bordering Glen Innes and I think tourist will love it because its really pretty they could go for a walk and take photos and share them with their friends

Imagine that you had to form a coalition government with two other people.  Who would you choose to partner with?

I would make a coalition with my very good friend Mya. the second person would have to be Alicia - (friend), The reason why I have picked Mya is because she is very thoughtful and caring which I think is the best. She can make anyone feel loved. I have picked Alicia because she is smart and very very funny. She can make you laugh even if your sad, she has the brains which come in handy.

On your blog tell us about your sporting hero. Who are they? Why are they a hero? Include a photo of them in your blog post.

My sporting hero is Stephen Curry, If you don't know who he is your about to know. So he is a NBA player and he plays for the Golden state Warriors. He is my sporting hero because he has alot of passion and hope when he plays. He is very inspiring, Why? we'll see he whenever he's on the bench and taking a break he will cheer and support his other teammates. He's also inspiring because He went to Riley's Hospital and surprised a 7yr old named Brody who has Leukemia. That is very nice of him, here is the link

Here are the three things that I learnt about Richie McCaw

1. McCaw was a keen pilot and in 2000 he was made made an honorary squadron leader of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. 


2. He is the most capped All Black ever.


3. McCaw was named as All Blacks captain for the first time for the Test against Wales in 2004 aged just 23.

One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my friends, the reason why is because they make me really happy and we like joke around and stuff, it's also my favorite thing because if I'm sad they will always be thier which to me is the best. Imagine that instead of spending the money on the movies, Peter Jackson decided to give all of this money to you. Lucky you! On your blog, tell us what you would do with $300 million dollars. How would you spend it? It is a lot of money so please think carefully about it and spend it wisely :-)

So first of since I love my parents very much I would give them 27 million to pay the bills and make sure they get what they want and need.

I would give 25 million to starship hospital so that the kids get the dream that they have always wanted.

Next I would spend 16 million so that I could travel the world and explore new places.

Then I would give 28 million dollars each to my 6 siblings and parents.

And then the rest of the money I will keep just in case if there is an emergency.

On your blog, tell us what you and your family do to celebrate special events, such as birthdays. Do you have a special meal or go to a specific place? In our house, we usually make a pizza and bake a special cake. What about you?

My family and I like to celebrate birthdays by decorating the house and baking alot of food. We also like to play a little bit of music. We always play fun games and go out so that we can buy things for the b-day person. My favorite thing to do on birthdays is to tell the person how proud we are of them. The reason why is because it makes them so happy. These are the things we do to celebrate someones birthday.

If I was Scotty Morrison and I was able to interview anyone I would interview Zendaya. Zendaya is a famous for Acting,Singing and Modeling. I have picked her because to me she is a very big inspiration and I love how she loves herself for who she is and also she's very very caring.
