Winter Learning Journey Day 4 Bonus Activity.
I think we should stop fishing at Farewell Spit because when people are fishing they are probably catching native fish. We should also stop fishing there because they are killing and capturing hector dolphins. The population of hector dolphins are around the number 7,000. In this picture a baby dolphin was killed by someone's boat propeller. That Is why I think we should stop fishing at Farewell Spit.

I absolutely agree with you that fisherman shouldn't be allowed to fish in Farewell Spit. It saddens me looking at your photo of the poor baby dolphin killed by a boat propeller. They are such beautiful, special animals and should be kept safe from accidents like this!
