A possum.
I dont think we should kill possums.
1. I mean yes they may eat native birds, leaves and berries so that the birds have no food but they haven't hurt a single human being (I think).
2. Possums are very cute but they are nocturnal. Nocturnal means they are only active at night. Before everyone kills them shouldn't we atleast give them a chance. Dont you think?
3. Maybe if we weren't so scary and used there fur for clothes and killed them for possum pies then maybe they will behave more.

Hey Jolie!
You make some great points against killing the possums! I like that you have thought about the issue and what it means to you. I like what you say in your third point about using possums fur to make things... They might be a threat to our wildlife, but it's also probably not very nice that we are using their fur for our pleasure!

Hi Jolie
Good job on this activity. I disagree with you. I think the possums should be killed because they are endangering our native animals, like the Kokako. Well done.
