Matific.
Today I did matific and I did the activity flying colours, also the matific games began today but we played the warm up games last week. I won 1000 points aswell as finishing all the games for today. I think that this game was really easy because I knew what to do. For example if it wanted me to do 4200 I would put 4 of the 1000L, 2 of the 100L and for the rest I would put nothing.
Overall I loved playing this game.

Reflection on sewing at tech.
At tech we were put into sewing. We made a tote bag.
Materials needed are.
Coloured fabric (Optional)
pencil
measuring tape
scissors
sewing kit or sewing machine
To make this we...
looked up a tote bag design, then we grabbed a piece of paper and measured the handle and the main part. After that we picked our fabric and put our measurements on it. When we did that we cut the fabric and then started sewing the parts so that we could get a tote bag. This is my tote bag that I made.

Fire drill.
“Fire drills” we've all heard of those. They help us prepare for when a real fire happens. Also everyone does fire drills because it’s very good to have. They hold fire drills anywhere and anyplace.
Here are some reasons why we need a fire drill. We need one because It’s better for you and your family. Also if a fire appears you won't have to worry at all because you will know what to do. Also many families in New Zealand have died because of fires happening in their house. Another reason why is because if you want you and your family to be safe then making a fire drill would come in handy.
Here are some tips on making a good fire drill. You could start by planning with your family so that they know. Then you could ask some of your neighbours if they have a fire drill and ask if you can see it. Another way is getting help from the fire fighters and see what they have to say.
some places on where you could practise your fire drill. One popular place would have to be at the one and only fire station. Another place would be at your home because since you live there you can practise and practise.
So as you can see we all need fire drills because it very very important. Make sure that you and your family plan a fire drill today.
writing is my weakness so I'm sorry if I can't explain properly.

Learning a maori song.
Today my class and I had maori with Ms Maude and we also learnt a new song called E Te Ariki. This is also called a himene some people may pronounce it as hi - me - ne but it is actually pronounced as Hymn. I knew the song of by heart and was I happy to harmonise with the rest of the children. It was really funny when the boys were learning their part but it was cool when we found out one of the boys could sing. I can't wait for the next maori practice because on that day we are going to learn a Karakia.

Boys helping out.
Today 15 boys helped Mr Hendricks move 5 logs so that Mr Patrick could help him put the volleyball net up. It was a little funny hearing the boy’s moaning about how heavy they were. But I bet I couldn't even lift those up. Here is a video and a picture of them moving the logs.

What I have learnt this week T3W2.
This week we used inequality signs <, > and = to compare fractions.
On Monday we used materials. This was easy for me because I felt like it was easier to work with and faster as well. Also because all we had to do was put them on top of each other and see which one was bigger.

On Tuesday we used a fraction chart. This was Easy for me because we used our to fingers to measure which fraction was bigger.

On Wednesday we worked without the above. We learnt a strategy which was make the denominators the same The knowledge required to solve to these problems this way is knowing all of your time tables

Soccer Skills
Soccer is a game played by everybody in the world. You play soccer on the grass or on concret. This morning Steve (soccer coach) came to teach us some skills. here are some skills.
Skills
- Use the inside of your foot
- Stop the ball with the bottom of your foot
- Turn around so that the other person doesn't get the ball
- Use your body to stop the ball (except for your hands)
- Pass to your teammates when you're stuck
- Use the outer part of your foot so that you can dodge the other player.
- Tackle the opponent (Soccer version)
- Dribble the ball.
I used the skill dribbling because I felt like it was the easiest one. But I think the hardest one would have to be passing it to your partner if you're stuck because the player would all up in your face and stuff.
The sport that I would compare this to, would have to be touch because I like playing touch and I like playing soccer. I like how they both involve running because I really love running. And I also like how both sports can be played in the sunshine.
